Here's what comes next:

1. Please use the PayPal button below to set up your monthly member donation.

The suggested minimum donation is $25/month. (If you are unable to donate that amount, please donate what you can).
 

2. The first practice taught to beginning students is Shugendo Gongyo - daily recitation - using the digital book we will send to you.

Along with important texts and mantra creating a foundation for further study, Gongyo encompasses the following three preliminary practices:

- 1000 repetitions of the Heart Sutra. 
- 1000 prostrations in reverance to En no Gyoja, the Shugendo founder.​

- 100,000 recitations of the Fudo Jikushu mantra.

 

At our first in-person meeting with you we can instruct you in all of these things, so please begin planning to attend one of our events. We also offer periodic online denju (teaching) where you can receive this beginning instruction; details will be sent to members via email. See our Events calendar for upcoming dates of both in-person and online teaching.
